In accordance with the provisions of the legislation in force in the context of supervising and improving working conditions:
- It regularly inspects workplaces from the point of view of the health and safety of workers and reports to the employer any omission of health and safety measures. When it becomes aware of any failure, it shall propose measures to remedy it and shall supervise the implementation of the measures proposed.
- He must supervise the correct use of personal protective equipment.
- He must investigate the causes of accidents at work, analyze and evaluate the results of his investigations and propose measures to prevent similar accidents, which he must record in the special safety technician's book of suggestions kept by the undertaking.
- Supervise the performance of fire safety and alarm drills carried out in the undertaking to establish readiness to deal with accidents.
- Informing and instructing workers to prevent occupational hazards arising from their work and ensuring that they comply with health and safety rules in the undertaking
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of health and safety training programs for employees.
- Cooperate with the occupational physician by carrying out joint inspections of workplaces.
